Brilliantly combining the art of sound design with unforgettable songwriting, Montréal-based synth-pop duo Automelodi is led by the inspiring studio engineering and magnetic persona of singer/producer Xavier Paradis.
Founded in 2006, his lengthy discography includes titles under his former moniker Arnaud Lazlaud and collaborations with artists like Liz Wendelbo of Xeno and Oaklander as the duo Liz and László. Paradis further elevated his poignant compositions with the addition of Dillion Steele on guitar in 2015, resulting in a refined focus on color and arrangement that is deeply engaging for both party-goers and analog synth connoisseurs alike. Automelodi has made a lasting impression on the world of avant-garde synth-pop, transcending limitations of genre while creating catchy and compelling art.


LUNAIRES (it)

..is the new project by Danilo Carnevale and Patrizia Tranchina and arises from the need for ongoing renewal that has always been their distinghuishing factor. From the very beginning in early 80s Milan with the historic project Jeunesse d'Ivoire, Patrizia and Danilo showed a strong affinity with the innovative sound of british post-punk groups, immediately receiving critical acclaim from influential magazines such as Rockerilla, Rumore and Fare Musica. The experience is reiterated in a modern key in 2010 with the name Ivories, updating both sound and line-up. Their repertoire developed in parallel to an intense live activity is documented in 2013 with the release of the EP "In Between" (Big Drop Records) and in 2017 with the full-length "Light Years" (Swiss Dark Nights). LUNAIRES is the landing point of a long musical journey committed to the incessant search for unknown sound spaces. A synthesis of past, present and future stretching across the span of thirty years. Post-punk infused electronics resulting in evocative and dreamlike atmospheres, bordering on psychedelia, shoegaze and krautrock.
