BIO sulla band - HORROR VACUI

"Horror Vacui formed in September 2010 and played the first shows in June 2011 supporting some foreign acts around London. Our line up consists on 5 people who’ve been playing crust core, grindcore, hardcore punk for many years now, so we have a good experience in touring etc (our previous/related bands are/were Kontatto, Giuda, Campus Sterminii, Noia, Headed Nowhere, Intothebaobab, Death From Above…)
We recorded a 5 tracks demo cd-r in 100 copies that we sold (out) in 1 month. So we repressed the demo cd in 200 copies with a new (better) artwork and we replaced one song with another one that was supposed to be released as a split 7” with a band that broke up before starting the recordings for it… That happened in November 2011 and after a bunch of shows in Italy there were just less than 50 copies left.
In May 2012 we released our first full 7” (“Can you still see reality?”) under our own label Legion Of The Dead Records (distributed by Agipunk Records).
In October 2012 our first lp saw the light. Its title is “In darkness you will feel alright” and it comes on LP (released by Avant! Records and Legion Of The Dead Records), CD (released by Horror Pain Gore Death Productions) and Cassette (L.O.T.D. Rec.). After touring France and Spain in December/January 2012 with Sect (side band of people from the band Belgrado) and Europe in August/September 2013, we repressed the first LP as it sold out and recorded a new one that has been pressed for our Octover/November 2014 U.S.A. tour on Black Water Records. The new record is called “Return Of The Empire” and the European version of it will be out in May 2015 on LP on Avant! Records and Legion Of The Dead Records, while the CD and the Cassette version of it is already out on Horror Pain Gore Death Productions and L.O.T.D. Rec. A 2 tracks 7” has been released as well by the American label Mass Media Records as a support for our U.S.A. tour.
Our lyrics are about mental disease, governments, revolution in Northern African countries, disgust for wars, and we also have some, let’s say, personal lyrics that deal from everyday’s life to poetic stuff.
Everything we write about and every place we play is strictly anti racist, anti sexist and anti fascist".
