'To the Core' was Zanias' debut EP, co-produced with Alex Akers of Forces between the endless grey expanse of Berlin and the oceanside retreat of Anglesea in Victoria, Australia. Fusing the ethereal power of Zanias' voice with Akers' penchant for body music energy, 'To the Core' charts a course of deep self-reflection through cycles of emotional abuse and psychedelic exploration.

Darkwave at its finest. Electronic music that vibes the 80s and is dark, gloomy, and danceable. But the music isn’t the product, it’s the vocals that inform the aesthetic. Heavy and soft, powerful and fragile; darkness at its finest. It’s haunting and moody.
